The client had an established garden which she sought to transform into a beautiful space with colour and year round interest. Chief aims were to introduce dynamism & create reasons to explore the whole of the garden – as well as nice places to sit and enjoy being outside. Jill was keen to have a path that ran all the way through the space. The design proposed an attractive curved path which lead from patio, past lush planting beds to a smaller patio at the end of the garden, ensconced in wisteria. This smaller seating area captured the evening sun and was secluded. The curved path and planting beds offered lots of options to perambulate around the garden with seating at both ends. This is the garden in its first year.
